I was a devoted user of Fox Farm for a long time, but I doubt I'll go back. Other than Tiger Bloom for the od girls of course.

I've had to make some changes to the suggested schedule, a couple of their products (Monster Bloom and Bloom Blaster) cause my ph to fluctuate too much, so I eliminated them.

The other 4 products are Bloom, Bloom Fuel, VitaMax, and Heavy Bloom. I use those at the suggested concentrations, but found the N content too low in the first 3 weeks of flower, so I add 1/2tsp/gal 15-30-15 through week 4, then drop to 1/4tsp/gal through to finish.

I only use the bloom line though, in veg I stick to the 15-30-15, with no need for any change. I experimented with the veg line on a few strains, but again found the N to low and was having to supplement with the 15-30-15 anyway.

Many people believe it to be a crossing of c99 x romulan out of southern california via Georgia. They would be wrong. Some have said that Space Queen is Green Crack, again they would be wrong. The original Green Crack clone was found in a grow in Athens, OH.

When I take cuts I use Oasis Grow Medium Wedges #5 and Miracle Gro Rooting powder

Just love her fresh lemon aide smell, especially in the middle of summer, lol. This girl has been running on only the GroTek Bloom schedule. For a plant that's already an awesome yielder, I am seeing a definite increase in the plumpness of the buds at this stage.

@assinomen yes, the more amber you see in the trichs (not the pistils) the more "sinky" the buzz. I like a big thc buzz, so I usually take a plant when it's 1/2 cloudy 1/2 clear, at least the first go around with her, then adjust the harvest day from there on future runs. When I'm taking a plant that's to be used for Hubby's back pain, I'll go to about 30% amber.

    Author: Melvan
Subject: 10355
Posted: 07 June 2012 at 07:03

I also had some chopping to do today. Took this Grape God at day 55.

I've run this pheno more than a hundred times using the Fox Farm products. This run I made a change and flowered her using the Gro Tek Bloom schedule and I can see the difference.

This plant is in a 1 gal pot of Pro-Mix, as I normally do with her. I can see an increase in the size of the buds as well as the density. Healthier finish on her too, not as much fade out, even with a late attack of mites.

I did have to modify the N in the schedule, which on other test plants, following the schedule exactly, was too low to handle the first 3 weeks of growth. So I added 1tsp/gal Miracle Gro 15-30-15 to every feeding through week 4, then a 1/2tsp from then to harvest.

I also found that the Monster Bloom and Bloom Blaster caused some ph issues, so I eliminated them from the schedule. The mg salts keep my well water at perfect ph, so I do everything I can to make sure I never have to test ph. If you're someone who doesn't mind ph'ing your water and is good about doing it every feeding, I would say not to drop those from the schedule.

Anyways, sorry about the ramble guys. Enjoy the porn.

This is really a great cross and I'm so happy to have my hands on her. She's not the most potent weed in the stable, I'd rank her at about an 8, but the yield is so awesome on her and she's such a healthy growing girl. And I swear, she smells like freshly made lemon aide, real crisp and clean smelling, if that makes sense, lol.

I had an attack of mites about 3 weeks ago, she rode it out like it was nothing, very resistant. We're going to have quite a few of her od this year. My only concern is that the bud's are so dense and large that she may be susceptible to mold, but we'll see.

In front is my new favorite Liquid Bubba's Chunk (Pre 98 Bubba Kush x Tom Hill's Deep Chunk).

Back row is a test run I'm doing for maddfarmer genetics. (Kushman's Strawberry Cough x Tom Hill's Deep Chunk) x Space Queen. These are 2 of the 3 females I got out of a 4 seed popping from a pack of 10. Very excited to see how they progress.

I say this all the time, but it's worth repeating. Tom Hill's Deep Chunk is the worst strain, to me, to run pure. It's a slow vegger and low yielder, but it has this awesome structure and strength in its branches that seem to dominate any cross made with it. It adds vigor to a cross that it just doesn't demonstrate in the pure form. For sure an excellent breeding parent, but I wouldn't waste a bucket running it pure again.

According to has some sense, breeder for Eugenic Genetics, it's the most expensive strain, both financially and in time, that he's ever worked, and it shows in the smoke for sure.

This is just one pheno from the original test run of the seed. The others were just as amazing, but this specific one has that little something more. A bit stronger odor of fruity rot, a bit more resin production, and a super soaring high. She wasn't the highest yielding of the phenos, but the difference could be measured in less than a 1/4.

In fact, it was more of an indica smoke. But, I don't think it's a real Haze is it? I've never come across a haze strain that finishes in 65 days or less.

The Durban Elixir is a tester, so I hope it tokes well. Although, I have found in most purple strains I've smoked, except the clone only Purple Diesel, that the potency tends to lack when they're bred for pretty.

This is a product of a pollen chucking done winter 2010-2011. Starting to get dark and curling a bit, on the edge of burn, so I've hit her limit on feed. She'll only get water for the next week and half or so.

This clone only got 6 days veg in her 1 gal pot after transplanting from her beer cup. I had a plant hermie early in its flowering, so I needed to fill a spot in the flower room.

An acceptable but not exceptional yielder, her smoke is very sweet and heavy in its grape smell and taste. Nice round firm buds that hold good weight in the dry process.

She'll get tested in an od grow this year, where I have a feeling she'll do much better. She has a good structure, when vegged properly, and strong stalk & stem. She stays stout and round, another good thing in an od girl. She'll cut day 55-57, which should put her around mid-sept.

This is a cross of Sagarmatha's Northern Lights #9 (NL #5 x Durban Poison) x Interpolm White Widow. Seeds for the parents of this clone only were purchased in 'dam in '95, a sprouting and chucking was done in '96, this pheno was found in a 2000 outdoor grow of the seed and 3 of us have kept her alive through cuts ever since. 12 years.

She's a real bear to grow indoors, sensitive to everything, but it has to be done to keep her around for outdoor grows, where she really shows her stuff. She's a made for the od pheno all day long. She wants the sun, wind, and sky to reach her maximum potential. She loves the Appalachian clay and truly becomes a majestic goddess outdoors. She does not enjoy being contained in a bucket, lol.

Finishes mid-late Sept od, indoors 56 days.

She's a test run I'm doing for Kingdom Organics. This is a breeding of their durban poison leaning phenos of El Jefe Thai, a cross of Bubble n Squeak (f1 male) x (Durban Thai Highflyer f2 – purple Thai pheno) Resin production at this point is moderate. She has a super strong lemon pine odor.

I topped and trained her to 15 mains. She's in a 3gal bucket. I'm the first one to flower this cross out, so no idea how's she's going to smoke, although the smoke reports on the El Jefe Thai strain itself are awesome.

She's a real stinky girl, very lemon skunk. She'll give your odor control system a real work out. My pheno chops day 55-58, depending on room temps.

She's a super yielder and does just as awesome in the od as she does indoors. Very resistant to stress and pests, and you can push the feed on her like crazy without burning her.

Excellent toke, very smooth. If you take her out to day 65 you will toke, sink into the couch, then go to sleep. I don't dig on that kind of buzz, unless I'm having an achy muscle day, so I take her at about 10% amber, 80% cloudy, 10% clear.

Here's some shots of another clone of this same pheno I have in flower right now at day 30.
