Thanks guys, things don't look good for the Bahia... 3 cracked but none have made an appearance since going into pots although one of the triffid crosses is up (and another one has cracked and gone into a peat pot). I don't usually use peat pots but I was given a heap of propagating supplies at xmas so I thought I would give them a go.

Sorry for not answering sooner Alecky, didn't see this post. All the plants I had over the summer were revegged and the two 'more' sativa looking ones started flowering around the expected time... so I don't know what happened with the hk or whether being revegged had an effect.
I had a small clone from the #4 plant in pot hiding amongst the ornamentals which began flowering a week or more later than the revegged mother. Seeing as there was nothing else to take up my attention I repotted her into a decent pot and upped the feed. A few days later I was given another #4 clone in rather sad condition...I think I was given this one because something had f#kdup and they didn't think it would survive. Wasn't anything a good flush, new pot, coco, and a bit of care couldn't fix. After that the weather went to crap and we got 3 months rain in 4 days, the night time temps dropped to single figures and the plants began to suffer. So back inside we went... set up the tent, got every thing running, whacked in the plants on 12/12 running lights at night and the weather stabilised.... so now the tent is running a bit warm (24C - 31C), lol they aren't going back outside, the temps will improve as the autumn continues. I'm quite surprised by the growth on the #4's... didn't pay a lot of attention to plants #4 and #5 on the initial run as they were slower starters and the run had to finish early. They have grown into quite sizable plants and look very promising. Granted two plants doesn't completely fill the tent so I am cracking sativa dom seeds with the intention of putting them straight into 12/12 with the #4's... hoping that they will fill up the extra space while the #4's flower and then fill up all the space after the #4's finish. My sativa seed is on th old side but I have 3/5 Bahia Blackhead and 1/7 Triffid x Affie potted... expect a few more triffids as they were started later. Might even germinate some Sensi Skunk just for the hell of it. I'll be back with an indoor log for the cool season next week, slow net speed makes uploading images a nightmare. |

Feckin hell sarah your not havin great luck lately!Your HK was a beauty! Do you think that she was a revegged plant had anything to do with the fact she was late to flower?I ask because if you remember the seed plant i had out last year, i put out a bit too early(21st march) and she ended up revegging and was much later to flower than the clone i put out(late april) . In the end i got nothing off her!!
Try get yourself to nimbin, you deserve it after all the grief you've had! You will come back ready to take on the world again! ![]() |

Yeah I could go... but I'd have to fly and find some accom as I have passed my seat in the convoy and my site booking to another southern pothead without transport.
Still thinking about it... sigh, just feel a bit crap about all of it. |

Sorry to hear that you had to cut down, Sara. But does this mean that your Mardigrass plans are back on track?

Dunno CK... maybe stoned people come up on their sonar differently to straight people?
Anyway a bit of bad news... neighbour behind me began cutting away a the over hanging limbs of a tree in the yard adjacent to them... :( this tree was sheltering my plant nicely from their line of sight. I managed to get her covered with shade cloth before they really got going but seeing as there is now scant cover, I spent yesterday cutting her down and cleaning up. I did collect some nice tops and have them sealed and stored in the fridge for later cloning. So all that is left at home now is a little clone in a pot from one of the strains I haven't yet identified. Drawback #1 of growing outdoors - neighbours. |
