Good day fellow cannabis lovers, with the recent good weather i have been in the veg plot enjoying stinkpig alfresco but also tidying/preparing for the season ahead and most importantly preparing my outdoor grow area, I was wondering who has plans for the great outdoors this season from the smallest one pot grow to the largest guerrilla grow lets chat about it, strains, starting times, techniques, etc

Traditionaly paddys day is the start of the growing season here, so ill be starting a few different veggies and toms indoors this week.

nice one bro, i thought i was the only one felling the urges to get things under way, my garlic's up an running so is the beetroot, got 40 toms in the greenhouse gonna try some in the veg plot as well as the greenhouse this season. the EPK looks a great strain its from BC so should finish early, still haven't received my outdoor seeds should be any day now. im on a mission with the freezeland to breed myself an extra early strain shouldn't be hard as it only flowers for 45 days.

Nice 1, mate all systems go in sickleland! After replying in this thread i went and took a couple of clones of a BD cross i have and put some tomato, sprout, and onion seeds to germ, also got some carrot, parsnip and swede but they need to be sown direct in the ground.
At the moment im trying to convince the mrs too dig up the shitty lawn out the back and fill it with spuds, but the idea went down like the time i suggested a threesome, like a lead balloon!! ![]() Speaking of garlic give this a read, i know this bloke as i worked in the fruit market for 6 years, poor fecker, the authorities have little to be doing but i suppose its easier to nail him than the real crims. http://www.rte.ie/news/2012/0309/begleyp.html |

Poor f$%king bloke, seems harsh, they like to make examples of people but that's taking it to far. round my way the coppers released there solved crime statistics and it was all driving offences lol no burglary or hard drug busts, why do proper police work when you can sit on your arse with a speed gun.
pmsl, threesome

You're for sure not the only one thinking about it. Currently I'm vegging a Grape God, Liquid's Bubba Chunk, Deadhead OG, Brian's Blend, and Hog so come May I can take a massive amount of cuts for od growing.
I may also have Caramel Candy Kush out there, not sure on that yet. For veggies I'm breaking out a whole new pumpkin patch in my back hayfield. I'll have all the standards, corn, tomatoes, cukes, various types of melons, green beans are a must, zucchini, yellow squash, and sunflowers. I do a little herb garden out there too. Cilantro, Basil, Oregano, etc. We also have massive amounts of blackberries, the property use to be farmed for them, so we have not just the standard wild berries, but domestic strains as well. I was out just today cutting back the old dry brambles around them. |

lol the hog, thats my dogs name,i just imagined her with her back half buried in the garden.
i'd love to be able to grow those types of strain outdoors melvan, but sadly they would turn to mush im sure, so i've opted for some hardy Canadian outdoor strains, ive never grown any of them but by the look of the grow logs they kick out some great buds and finish nice an early around my latitude (mid sep-mid oct) due to them being extra light sensitive, so much so that you have to veg them on 18/6 or slightly under other wise they will flower as soon as you put them outside, should be interesting. blubonic x gg3 (outdoor blueberry x gorilla gold 3) mighty durban (mighty mite x durban) mighty durban x mighty amstel freeze (i think the name says it all except amstel which is the old name for passion#1) bc coastal mix (mainly timewarp x Cambodian) freezeland bx x freezeland bx (frisland indica x pluton2, sssc stock) i get 15 free seeds with my order which are high rise seeds very early mix which are all something x gg x auto gg crosses as for vegi's my soil is very sandy so i tend to stick to carrots, onions, shallots, spuds, beetroot, garlic, turnips, parsnips, brasicas, etc i grow all my herbs in raised beds where there is richer soil along with lettuces, beans, chili's, courgettes(zucchini), etc |

I'm pretty lucky where I am. Although I'm almost 2000 miles away, I'm on the same parallel as Humboldt county. I've got a mid-sept to mid-oct harvest window as well.
Our soil here is a rich reddish clay left behind after millions of years of the Ohio River forming our mountains here. Not as red as Georgia clay, but still super rich. I didn't realize you were in canada, have you considered any of Lephrechaun Seeds for your outdoor. They're canadian breeders, and that GraveDigger looks like it could handle just about anything. |

sorry for the mix up melvan, im not in/from Canada, im just a member of a Canadian forum so have access to there seeds. ive seen a few grow logs of people growing at 52-57 northern latitude with these strains who have had a finished harvest by oct 15th an earlier, pheno depending of course. apparently anything with gg or mm in the mix will finish extra early, even if they only shave of a couple of weeks ill be a happy man.
ill check that seed company out, thank for the heads up |

I am in london, i have a small greenhouse on the balcony that will take a hight of about3-4 feet. I could clip the tops or get a dwarf variety. Anybody in this area got any tips on strains?.
