It's an autoflowering strain. That's the reason it's flowering automatically!
Starting after only two weeks' veg is not the most common outcome, but it's far from unheard of for an autoflowering strain. It depends on what form the flowering takes. Is the plant just producing preflowers, a sign that the plant is moving towards flowering, or are the bunches of pistils multiplying rapidly, as they do in true flowering? I expected Super Skunk Auto to take 10-12 weeks to complete its cycle, so I was (pleasantly) surprised to hear from growers that it could go from seedling to harvest in 8 weeks. In order for any plant to do this, it would have to start flowering within the first month. So no, not too short. This kind of outcome is pretty much the point of autoflowering strains. Some individual plants may start earlier than others, some may go through their flowering period slightly faster. I'd guess that they'd still all finish around the same height, but it's possible that plants which enter true flowering straight away will finish as dwarfs. As to whether the root system is too weak - if the plant already needed to be repotted, that suggests the root system was doing well. |

I was there 2 days ago and i have to say the plants look really good and very big for around 4 weeks. Two plants/root systems were damaged in 1/2 when repotting but they recovered after 4-5 days and doing excellent. Thanks for reply I will update about the progress ;) |

Cool! Looking very nice there!
Are these plants really from seeds that were germinated only 5 weeks ago? How tall are they IRL? I'm guessing about 30-50cm. ![]() (did a quick resize in the upload editor) |

Okay, 10 or 11 weeks. That's in line with most of the results I've heard.
(I was getting your posts mixed up with sookie's) Nice work! |

I have a mate who grew them under lamps and didn't have nearly as good a result. Just harvested 2 plants ;) Early august top! I've got another row of auto super skunk and white haze auto on the go but they are 20/25 cm tall and already in flower so I guess I'll have a lot less burn. I think this is because I planted them later and the daylight hours are going down so they have gone into flower quicker... Any ideas? |
