hi all, i´m new and i need some help. i grow aurora indica, indoor and outdoor. now i have noticed that the plants outside are really nice and light fresh green and no red/violet leaf stems (sorry for my bad english). i have the feeling that the complete green plants outside grow better than the ones inside. the clones that grow indoor are very dark green and have red/violet stem and leaf stems. i dont fertilize to mutch, i have tryed it with more and also with less fertilizer. at the moment i use hesi and canna terra professional soil. i will upload pics as soon as i can, but i hope i get help before that. it would be nice if the indoor plants would also look like lettuce nice and vital :( please i hope u guys can help. coud it maybe that they don´t get enough fresh air, cause the soil and fertilizer are the same??????
the first 2 pics show the green like lettuce plants and they are very vital..... the next 2 show plans very dank green and red/violet turning leaf stem ![]() ![]() |

if you have taken the clones from a plant that has grown outside then grown the clones indoors they can become stressed due to the change of environment, but from the look of your pics they look fine maybe just keep an eye on them for signs of nutrient deff
good luck |

I can't see the pics, but normally if you have a purple/red color change in your stems and branches you have a P deficiency. Of course, it could also be a strain, like many are, that naturally has this color to its stems, or striped stems, when grow indoors.
Really dark leaves that curl and have brown tips means you are over feeding. If they are light green with yellow tips, you're under feeding. Good luck. |

the indoor ones are dark green with NO burns or curly leaves, momy is giving good clones that finish rooting afer 9-10days. i´ll try to add some more hesi p+k to regular tap water with ph of 6,5 and give that to one ort 2 plants to see difference.
the pic work now regards |

I was always lead to believe that red/purple stems was due to cold?

as i said the light green ones were outside the last weeks and for german weather it was good and not to cold like 15° +-2°, was pretty good. the building we live in was a big mess when it was build and we have very hard drafts in the appartment and it often happens that our home is colder than outside :( .
if its just due to cold temp, i don´t know, how is the overall opinion then from the plants, cause i´m just a little worried. the red(violet coloring i get on most strains i grow indoor and outdoors they all turn green. that confuses me! |

hi mario
The plants look very simillar in colour to me (this could be the camera). If your indoor plants are too green in your opinion(bear in mind that if they are darker than the outdoor ones it may be due to the indoor conditions being better)(also you said they are not over fertillised) you could just lower the ec a little(nutrient strength).soloutions are usualy well balanced,so giving more nutrients may not be needed:and may be a waste. Another factor could be the light, indoor bulbs will never equal the sun in a balanced spectrum:Your indoor plants will look slightly different to the outdoor because they are in a different enviroment. |
