Hi guys and gals
As my first grow is almost done(drying and curing left), I think it is time to start the second grow diary. I started with 10 female JF, 7 female NLxhaze and 5 G13xhashplant seeds. I also germinated a few dutch passion blueberry and Sweet Seeds Black Jack. This diary will concentrate on the seeds from sensi. I have been vegging them from 29-33 days under constant 24 hr lights. 2 of the jackflash have been vegging for 65 days. All these plants are under 4 400wMH lights. I have plan to go 12/12 on 15th of this month. All plants are in 12-14 liter of compost. Only one JF was given nute few days back. All others have never been given any nutes yet. NLxhaze (veg time 33 days) All germinated but only three grew over an inch. They are growing slow compared to other sensi strains ![]() G13xhashplant (veg time 29 days) Forgot to put one plant. ![]() JF (veg time 29 days) ![]() JF (veg time 65 days) The tall plant was super slow from start but in last 4 weeks its is growing very fast. It is 2ft now. But leaves are yellowish and does not look healthy. ![]() |

nice. what wattage are your mh lights? All plants, even the short ones, look like they have plenty of nodes, most likely the result of good lighting. They dont need to stretch that much.
Have you looked into FIMing or topping your plants? |

Thats alot of light. 100w/sqft is a good measure for light requirements. you could grow a forest with 1600W. Are you going to switch bulbs for 12/12?
Topping really helps. And so does FIMing. Which is a little less scary. You just cut off about 2/3 to 1/2 of the brand new growth, (just the 2 leaves). It ends up delaying the main stalk growth so the side branches can catch up. Makes your plants more bushy. Its all an effort to get more light to more bud sites. LST training is another great way to maximize yield. (FIM and topping should be done about a month before 12/12) Any of these techniques will help you get max bud for all your effort. Looking forward to flowering. |

All the best for your latest endeavour LM. I think the two larger JF's will improve with larger pots, they look pot bound to me.

The two big JFS were transplanted in these pots5 weeks back. They are 12 litre pots. I did think about transplanting them in bigger ones but than thought they might take more spare and it will be hard for all plants to get even light coverage. I am planning to go 12/12 on 15th or 16th of this month. So another 5 days in veg left. Flowring will be under 4 400w hps lights.

At a minimum I would slip the plants out of the pots and add more soil to the bottom of the pot, put the plant back in and back fill the edges with soil. That will bring the soil level up closer to the top of the pot and provide them with extra root space while keeping them in the same sized pot.

Hey,
Good luck with the grow. As Blackmore said, for veg that's over kill. I recon 1 400 would have been fine :). or a 400 up until they got bigger then maybe throw another in. |

I used only 2 400w ones when they were in 1.5 litre pots. Put them under 4 after repotting. I have no idea how you would fit 15 plants in 12 litre pots under 2 400w lights. I think 4 is the maximum no of plants I would put under one 400w light.
