IMHO, to hell with pictures. That's stoner-porn for those unfortunates who don't have access to decent smoke (and yes, I was one of them). It's like regular porn in the hands of 12-year olds. Kind of pointless, as they have no real experience to compare it to. Great for whacking off though!

You can't smoke pictures, and they don't give you much in the way of bankable information on how to make hashish.

Hashish! by RC Clarke is the definitive book on the subject, covering both traditional and modern methods of hash-making.

Trash to Stash by Rosenthal is a close second, covering mostly modern methods (which is what most people are going to use).

Hashish! easily taught me the most about hash - history, chemistry, making it, appreciating it. Great pictures too! If you're into that kind of thing...

Hasish (1984) by Suomi Lavalle is also a beautiful book - full of colour photos, exploring the traditional hash-making regions of the world.

I'm not sure if its still in print, but if you can find a copy, grab it!
