hello sober !
I ve noticed no on answered your question. sorry, cant do this too ... but I know how disappointing this can be, when no one answers.
but I LOVE purple weed and I would be happy about a indoor purple variety someday.
there are many purples in seedcompanys : nirvans has "purple power", theres from dutch seeds a purple strain called "honeymoon" and the "purple#1" and "shaman" has purple genes.
white lable has the "blueberries". as I said many breeders have thier own purple/blue strain, too many to post in here.search the seedbanks for a purple or blue strain and I m sure you ll find a sutiable seed.
have a good smoke and purple dreams !

Very few (if any) strains are inherently purple.
Quite a few strains have an increased chance of turning purple in low temperatures, or as a result of other stress factors.
If seeds are sold AS a purple variety, it's probably a result of marketing as much as anything else.
As a general rule, purple colouring means that a plant has suffered from stress. If you had clones of the same plant grown in different conditions - with one turning out purple, one one staying dark, healthy green - nine times out of ten, the green one will be the higher quality smoke.
Also, certain publications get used to launch strain names and create a buzz around a new title. This doesn't necessarily mean that a genuine new strain has been created.

Purple Urkel is a strain hybridized in southern california, like everyone has said it is clone only mainly because of its quality, but it is also notoriously a slow grower (sometimes taking up to 5 months total for sufficient yield) making it very cherishable. Reserva Privada obtained these genetics and crossed it with trainwreck. It is called Purple Wreck, that is the closest you will find. As far as Granddaddy Purple goes, i'm pretty sure the genetics originated in California as well, but it is marketed for sale in Atlanta and the surrounding areas for sure, and the growers have a tight lock on the genetics (good luck finding a seed). Having said that, i've smoked both of these strains and i understand why you are searching everywhere for the genetics. All of the other purple strains sold in seed banks don't come close to the quality of the smoke of these strains (much lower CBD and CBN levels). If you really want these strains, you gotta travel to California or Atlanta and meet some people.

Reserva Privada is part of DNA Genetics Seeds. They sell the Purple Wreck seeds.THSeeds sell DA PURPS,BC Bud Depot sells The PURPS,Dutch Passion Seeds sells PURPLE# 1..Sensis'NLs can get A real nice blue/purple color, mixed into the green,if you harvest outdoors in late fall. The cold makes them turn colors & get hard buds.I try to harvest before the first frost of winter, but I have had to beat the snow off of NLs, that turned purple, and I have never noticed any loss of potency @ all.Its A tough/strong plant....LF.
