thatz nice snowy budshots. I like the JTR !
@farmer:saw it just like you, but I guess its a matter of the angle in the shot.

I can't tell if it's an illusion caused by the angle of the shot or a real mutation.

I have seen this kind of mutant growth before (though rarely) - where a calyx or two grows from the centre of a leaf.
No grow questions to me by PM, please.

Yeah, there's a pic in Jorge's Indoor Bible of a couple of pistils growing from the centre of a leaf, but bananaman's JTR looks like it's got a whole little bud growing there.

Maybe it is just the camera angle, but I've been starting at it for ages and I can't see where else it might be growing from...

Namaste friends

i have some pics and of course some questions - thanks everyone

So this is that ERSB on Day 67 - Flowering Day 14 prior to removing ties

Sorry everyone if i'm unable to give better quality pics

This pic is with ties now removed: canopy width - 22 in/56 cm & vertical height 18 in/46 cm

shoots are stretching & stems are hardening

but all the plants are at this similar level of sexual maturation - with the tops of the growth shoots not revealing much yet.

i had continued the training for the last two weeks, but now have removed all the ties from everyone & lettin' them go.

i've checked for light leaks/covered any LED's, so i think there is no problem there

what are your thoughts on this everyone? - thanks a lot, really appreciate the input

I will check each spurs (spurs forming a X on pic #3 & #6) knowing that on young female young flower usuallly developp more right behingd the Spur   ,at each nodes, and see what's behind, one tiny flower may have sprouted but you are not seeing her with so many branches,

on the stem it is hard to see and there is no flower yet or (maybe on pic ~4) , it looks a small flower dried),
look maybe on the top shots but behind the spurs, sometimes like I said earlier they flower when we are not waiting for anymore....cheers...
she looks female to me....otherwise a male will have flower by now.....let's think this way.since it has no pre flower and it is so long to flower....

you can see the stem, the branches ,the leaf, the spur, and the tiny female flower between.
if I was you I will look for the tallest spur of the plant, then look right behind ,pull it a litle bit and check if there is any flowers, she may flower 3 days after you run of patience....cheers...

Here for you a few pics from the book "sinsemilla Marijuana Flowers " By Jim Richardson Photography by Arik Woods and /or press Berkeley California 1976.

I 've grown one in 1992 in south of france,it was 20-25 Ft tall, not only the main colas but all the branches,it reach my hips at the FIRST european floor (sorry for my mistake),an african variety ,that I started growing inside ,it was 3-4 ft tall when I put it outside ,was first choked a litle bit and loose a few leaves but it started growing a lot very soon after that,   I used 15-20 liters of water everyday sometimes more ,it was in a patio outside ,safe from any winds, but all walls were white and she was growing against the wall facing south.no roof of course.it was really a nice outdoor spot,I was inspired by this book,so I was thinking tonight ,it may inspired other growers....sadly the plant was destroyed by someone an d i have no picture to show, but it was so huge that in a a way it was discreet.

thanks holistic & mendocinobay - thanks for the interesting pics - that sounds like a mystical plant that you grew, i'll try to check out that book -

saw a big difference in morphology after removing the ties, saw that characteristic "V" pistil formation on one of ERSB shoot tops today

seems like the loops "stunt" development above that portion of the stem - saw that in veg too, increased stem girth upto the tie & rapid "filling" out of stem as i advanced the loops

btw "constrictures" are subsequently formed below the nodes - curious about how this affects phloegm transport immidately above these points to adjacent growth shoots/budsites

i'll keep you posted - thanks a lot for the help, had suspicions but not much confidence from lack of experience

peace

Namaste friends,

welcome back Bananaman, thanks for answering the question - i think a lot of us were curious about that pic

hey everyone, i had a general question regarding ventilation (i tried looking at other threads but still wasn't sure)

since i was growing bushes,

i had been using a low speed oscillating tower fan
and
i have a 6 in/15 cm dia light hood outake fan & 4 in/10 cm outake fan at the top of the grow space, there is a 6 in/15 cm fresh air intake fan at the bottom

i was reading that too much "wind" can damage resin structures - should i turn off the oscillating fan now that i'm at mid-flower - will the intake/outake fans address ventilation issues adequately by themselves?

thanks everyone for the help

peace
