Sensi Seeds photo competition

We will be running a photo competition on the forums this summer. 
Prizes will be in the form of seeds, in exchange for full rights/ownership of the images.

The details of the contest have not been completely worked out
yet, but from what I understand, the winning pictures are going to be
those that are most useful as promotional shots. 

So, the best shots to enter are portrait images of nice big buds that are close to harvest, with lots of resin visible. Plants with nice colours or unusual (desirable) features would also make good subjects.

For lighting, you should probably avoid shooting plants that are under
HPS lamps, as the yellow shade of the light is always detectable in the
final image, and changes the natural colour of the plant.

Shoot in sunlight, white light or with a flash to get colours that are closer to real life.

Using the flash while shooting a plant illuminated with HPS can give a
nice effect as the red/orange and blue/white light mingle with each
other.

Most bud portraits look better in macro.

Bud macros seem to turn out best when using maximum depth of field (using the smallest aperture, which is indicated by the highest f
number on your camera).

In short, you should be shooting excellent buds and trying for shots with bright, vibrant colours, plus maximum detail and DOF.

And, of course, the subject must be a Sensi Seeds or White Label strain.

	Just an example. There are any number of things about this shot that could be improved, but it's a pretty nice bud. Shooting against a backdrop helps. It doesn't have to be coloured, but it's good if the b/g is not busy enough to distract attention from the subject

	do we know when the closing date is mate as mine are still growing ?

	It hasn't opened yet. Last date for entries is at least 3 months away, so that's potentially time to have a flowering plant from seeds started today.

	havent thought that. but anyone has to decide ? anyhow... I mean rather in which frame the whole thing will b. posting in the forum or sending it to an e-mail account or even send it by mail ?
