I will likely be running the JP outdoors in the next season, which is not too far off where I am.
I am wondering if it is possible to keep mother plants of JP and if it is how hard are they to keep in veg? I understand that the Early Pearl has a tendency to try to flower even under constant light, I am wondering if JP is the same. Also if anyone has some pics of the JP or any other info, I would be very interested. thanks, Ez |

Both Jamaican Pearl nor Early Pearl can be kept as mother plants - in permanent veg - with no problem.
Ruderalis hybrids are the only ones I know which may have a problem with being kept in veg. |

Thanks for the reply Ganja.
Thats interesting, I read that the Early Pearl genetics can be almost 'auto flowering'. As in the plants can start to flower under full lights under certain conditions. e.g. Gerrit from Magus Genetics has a hybrid 'Biddy Early' which is Early Skunk F2 x Warlock. He says keeping mothers in veg is difficult and sometimes impossible. Presumably due to the Early Pearl influence. So you would say that it is definitely possible to keep JP in veg without too much trouble? thanks again, Ez BTW - is that photo comp open yet? |
