This guy is just too funny, but the whole video is quite instructive. I'm sure many of you have already seen it, but since I couldn't find it posted, I thought it might be worth it.

It's LONG: there are 9 parts to the video. Below is the embedded version of the first part, but if you wish to watch it on YouTube and see the other 8 parts by unfolding the "More from: DetroitPink" link, here is the link:

Ah, the green dude.

Not a bad video, though there are a couple of small points in his info that should be taken with a pinch of salt, IIRC.

Yes, I agree he has a very "american efficiency" (though he's from Canada) / industrial / chemical approach to growing, whereas I tend to think that more organic methods are preferable. As for the rest of the details, I only have "education" from forums and books, but no experience with growing (1st grow in progress), so I wouldn't necessarily recognize all the bad advice. The handy work is interesting though, and the guy is funny ;-)

already seen this video and yes there are some useful indications, but someone should tell him that the plastic for wall should be white....  Anyway I agreed,  the green man is just hilarious,  is good to see the whole video by who follow the indoor cultivation. I like both the pure natural cultivation and the indoor totally idroponics, but I still prefer to smoke the weed coming from the greenhouse

I watched it and the guy pretending to be the incredible hulk and david bellamy is hilarious . He does give some good info. but it took him 6 months to grow a 1/4 poud. WHAT the F*** was he doing taking that long you could do 3 or 4 crops in that time. Plus he tells you at the start that you would be better not doing anything he says as.... He tells you he has flooded countless houses. that says stay clear straight away. he also shows you what happens when he does things wrong. There are many other good vids out there, See more buds, ready set grow by hightimes, how to grow marijuana by thc seeds they are quite good. but my advice is find your own growing technique as these people do not live where you live and there climate, water, grow space and so on is diffrent
Everything I say on this site is for entertaiment purposes only. I have never grown or plan to grow marijuana, my sparse knowledge comes from what I have seen on this and other sites on the Net.

Agreed. I just started with outdoors a few weeks ago (though bad weather has forced me to keep my plants under CFL for a few weeks) as I figured outdoors would be easier for a beginner and you don't have to worry about things like airflow and such.

So far so good. Plants are doing well and I've been learning quite a lot just by watching them every day and paying attention to their needs (and getting good advice from various peeps in the outdoor forum).

I'll be trying indoors this winter, but I think I may just go with soil for the first attempt. Sounds easier and less expensive: I don't have to buy all this additional equipment. I may try hydro later on, once I have a few grows under my belt and feel a bit more confident.

Well I wouldnt go as far as saying growing outdoors would be easier. As indoors you can control your climate. and you cant outside. I think from my own experiance: that your biggest worry should be RH% relative humidity, as this outside is uncontrollable. if you are above 65% RH then you will most probably get mould.

True... and insects are more of a pain too. You just can't avoid them outdoors, so it takes a lot of careful inspection on a regular basis so as to take appropriate measures on the very first signs, before any major infestation occurs.

Where I live, luckily, humidity is not too much of a problem though. We are usually in the 40-50% range, except when it rains of course. The outdoor strain I bought, Early Skunk, is supposed to have good resistance to mould as well. So hopefully, I won't have that problem.
