why do you want to use ripen? ripen will make your flowers finish 10-14 days after giving it to them. this is usually used to get a crop finished early, say if your going on holiday or something. BM

This is general hydroponis ripen aye? If so, you dont want to use it at all, except with plants that just wont finish. Or if you are a commercial grower, and wait your crop all ready at the same time.
It is a forcing solution, not a flowering additive. It stresses and sends signals to your plants, that they are coming to the end of their lives. You certainly do not want this after only 10 days flowering.
I have ripen here, and only use it, when a plant just wont finish, or i need room, and i want to finish one off quick. You feed it 10-14days before you want your plant to be harvested. And you do not feed it with any other nutrients or additives.

Thank you BM. If someone could look at this link below:
http://www.eurohydro.com/pdf/tabs/gb/fs-terre.pdf I am growing outdoor and I was wondering if that chart fits my needs. I was thinking that as soon the plant will start flowering I should start feeding her like in week 7 ON THAT CHART. Am I correct? |

that chart is fine to follow, but you probably wont have to feed every watering, only feed them when they show signs of needing it.

The GH stuff is good man. Do you have the 3-part, grow/bloom/micros?
Floralicious is a good booster, you can add that if you have it. But i'm not sure exactly what you have. Can you list you nutes? If your plants are in good soil, and are green. I'd only feed them additives. Like the micro, or floralicious. Before harvest. Get yourself down to a health food shop, and buy some un-sulphered mollases. Its thick like honey, but darker. You can add thus to your plain water for the last 10-14 days. You use 1teaspoon per 2 litres of water. First dissolve it in a cup of hot water. So all the mollasses are dissolved into a liquid. Then pour this cup of mollases water into your watering can, and feed your plants. The mollassesbwill swell your buds up to 20% has been recorded. It also leaves a nice sweet taste, and provides the plant with carbohydrates, and micros. Its great for the beneficial soil bacteria. Helps them break down nutes into easily assimilated firms, for the plant. Its very cheap too. I allways use it. Though you can just water with plain water, or a flushing solution instead the last week or so. |

(it can be hard to get an answer on very old threads)
I'm not familiar with Ripen, but Solid mentions that it's a flower forcer (for plants that won't flower), not for finishing plants. In the last week, it's better to give plain water. |
