Hi All,
Has anyone grown in Sensi Black Domina ever had plants take longer than 50 days to finish? I have one in flower at 35 days and it looks like there's no way it will finish on time. It's being grown in soil-less mix (10L container), under a 1kw HPS and looks VERY healthy, pretty much like the classic phenotype described in the catalog. The White Diesel sitting next to it (flipped on the same date) is much further along. Comments/Suggestions? Peace, Farmer Rich |

are they 35 days of 12/12, or 35 days since they started actual flowering?
i find with pretty much every strain ive grown, that they take a couple of weeks longer than the stated times, so i would be expecting it to finish after 60-65 days of 12/12.
if you take it from when the actual flowering starts, which is normally a couple of weeks into 12/12, then i would expect the 50 days to be closer.

Hey BM,
I always start counting from the day I flip them, but I definitely see your logic. I've already decided to be patient with this one.. This is actually my first Black Domina from seed, so I'm getting to know the strain.. Thanks! Farmer Rich |

Yes, i've grown quite a few BD's now. Fasted one i had come down was day 60. Longest i had was infact the worst one. It wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, just not half as nice as the others. That went 70-74.
The best one was a musky, lemony hash pheno, with a really dank underlying smell of ghani. This was down at day 65, and was a peach. I do find with the Bd's the taste and aroma is better the earlier you cut them. They lose that penertrating dankness if left go too long. So i won't be taking one past day 65 again probably. But as BM said, that just about works out as 2 weeks onto your intial flowering period of 50 days, and it takes a couple of weeks for the buds to start forming properly. |

Hey Solidopc,
Very helpful info on the BD finishing. Unfortunately, I only ended up with one female from the seeds I had, but she's very dark, very healthy and the clones all rooted nicely. So I guess no problem, but only one phenotype. So thanks, I'm going to sit back, relax, adjust my calendar and stop worrying about it! Peace, Farmer Rich |

I dont grow BD,not yet anyway, but I do grow alot of NL. I agree with BM.If you start counting days as soon as you start the 12/12, it takes A couple weeks to really see the flowering begin, as they stretch & continue to grow.
