Hello to all,

I am going to grow some outdoors/greenhouse smoke next year as i think its possibly a bit too late to start growing from seed now,and after some useful info from sensi members i want to try and grow some early skunk and some sensi skunk, but my question is about this lowryder auto-flowering strain, can i grow it practically anywhere in my house/garden with this, i know it takes about 8-10 weeks to harvest from seed, but im worried that it might not take in the UK climate, basically can i grow it on my kitchen window sill or possibly in my plastic greenhouse (i know its my poormans greenhouse) as it doesnt require a light cycle as such, also im told its so easy to grow, it can thrive anywhere where light is available and because it auto-flowers in about 8-10 weeks i can have a decent amount of smoke without the need to go and buy some overpriced smoke and maybe buy seeds to grow enough to last me till next april when i start growing my outdoor/greenhouse smoke. basically it'll be a stop gap kinda thing till next april, also is the smoke any good and have i been fed a load of toffee about growing lowryder.

oh yeah 1 more thing, is my plastic greenhouse any good as ive grown a variety of garden plants/veggies even grew strawberries in my poor mans greenhouse and hope my sensi skunk will like growing in it.

ahh before i forget will growing early skunk and sensi skunk have a pungent smell in my garden just thinking of my lovely neighbours is all%3cool

thanks for reading my post,i look forward to any replies i will hopefully get %3chumbs%20Up

You could easily grow lowryder outdoors now and harvest about the first week of september. You'd need a lot of plants to get a decent harvest though. I reckon, though could be wrong, that you could still grow a more sensible strain outdoors now. Midsummer today, even if you started now chances are you'd get a few plants with better yield than lowryder.

Pungent? That's why it gets called 'skunk'. The smell will be most noticeable during flowering, in confined spaces and outdoors when the weather is still and warm.

Most cannabis and hybrids are pungent when in later flowering. About lowryders, just found a deciduaus herbaceous perrennial strain that overwinters comes back in spring, autoflowers once established and if left will carry on colonizing the surrounding area indefinatly, unless someone digs it up. Giving it a go next year, apparantly a nice strong smoke too.

Sounds nice, but after reading there description, I'm left wondering how it works.

"Yes the seeds and not so commonly the plant can over winter and re-emerge come the spring, as in this little, or should we say big beauty will auto flower once it is established - if left to be it will set seeds, then these seeds will grow and then these plants will do the same thing so on and so forth ad infinitum!"

Sounds like a hermi, other wise how would it seed it self. I have acheived similar results by just letting a polinated plant drop it seeds before harvesting, if the weather is kind those seeds will grow next season.

The company you've linked also run an equipment shop.

They are VERY expensive. However, their customer service, on both sides of the business is excellent.

Personal experience.

Yes expensive company. Just recieved them this morning cost £75. But while putting the seeds in a plastic tube into the fridge I noticed they were very healthy and definatly viable seeds, was a bit sceptical at first as this was my first order with this company. Also I have never grown Auto's before, but have a nice big sunny garden, south facing and secluded and thought I'd see what happens. I'll also be growing Jamaican Pearl and Silver Blue in the greenhouse, not till next year though. Had to take down my indoor setup, so only outdoor grows for now.

I hope that sales blurb is tongue-in-cheek... lol deciduous and herbaceous. I especially like the bit about "horticulturally aware".

Exactly, that is how annual plants propagate.

LOL bought as a curiousity. I'm in U.K and winters are bad where I am. An experiment.
