Marijuana "Said" to Trigger Heart Attacks

   Logically we should look at the positive's and negative's of smoking cannabis. I'm a long term user of cannabis...30+ years now and always preferred to smoke big fat joints with tobacco. Until recently all was fine, but then I noticed after a joint my pulse would raise and then give me an irregular heartbeat that would last about half an hour. After not admitting to myself that this was not cannabis related from my biased point of view I made a doctor's appointment. Spoke to him about it and his advise was to keep with cannbis but give up smoking it and try ingesting it instead....with the advise that the Human lungs are for breathing air for oxygen not carbon monoxide which is what you get with ANY smoke, let alone lung scarring from the heat of it. Also he mentioned that studie's now "prove" that mixing cannabis with tobacco is more likely to give you complications, and he gave me a whole list, cancer being at the top. 

So to play safe with my cannabis I do admit to smoking a pipe and bong but rely more on canna recipe's....best one is hash coffee, and with bud I make cannabis tincture from an old recipe dating back to the 1920's. It's been a month now and I wonder why I ever smoked in the first place, because now I get the full benefit's of cannabis and feel so damn healthy......oh the irregular heartbeats are no longer, so perhaps there is some truth to the article but in regards to smoking in general.

I do still smoke just cannabis without tobacco and don't get the irregular heartbeats, maybe it's the mixing of the two. Plus I'm at an age where my risk of heart attack is more ellevated than that of a younger person.

	agree with you s. get the cold brains and try to be the most objective we can..of course for the honesty and the(very important)real informations about this subject of the pos and neg of cannabis. but its very hard: differents cannabis sorts;diff. peoples in world;diff.using canabis. etc but we can see some general effect and said some generality.... but i think cana legalisation likes other drugs like tobacoo or alcohol is a political and business decision.......only so when we ll do it? thazt the question! lol skunkfunk
