Hi

My plant has almost outgrown it's space. The box is 50cm x 80cm, but is pretty tall. The leaves are already touching the side panels, plant is about 2 months old. What to do? Should I put it on 12/12 and start flowering?

Thx

Definetly! Depending on wich Strain you are growing, the Plant can gain 100 - 150 % more in Height after you start flowering.

Is the lamp already on the highest position possible? If so...you could already get some Height-Issues in my Opinion...

Thx for the answers.

The lamp can go much higher, the box is around 2m tall.
Why is it a good idea to tie down the top? Can you explain in detail?

BTW, It's Shiva Shanti II, hope it will be a female :)

Tie the top down and u will create more main bud sites plus u can keep ur light closer cause u will have a more even canopy, Shiva shanti 2 will grow about 3 times its size once flowered that will be 2 high for ur room i think.

3 times??? :) That will be a tree instead of a bush :))

Ok, I will have to look for some pics, vids for tyeing down. I suppose I need to tie the top branches, not the main (vertical) part of the plant. Right? I also want to create some clones now, can I take them from the lower part of the plant, where they are already not getting enough light? Or there are some parts on the main (vertical) stem where from one node 2 branches have grown out? Should I cut those?

U tie the main stem down mate, u can go further and tie side branches down to create more of a bush if u want.

Yea take cuttings from the bottom mate.

Thx man. Greatly appreciate your help %3chumbs%20Up

I've made yesterday 2 clones from the mother plant. Where do other growers place these clones? Next to the mother plant (which is on 12/12 now)? Or they have a separate box for clones?

separate box for clones mate with 18/6 of light, u can get like 125w enviro lights pretty cheap and dont use much engery which are great for clones and young vegging plants. also good for keeping mothers under

nice going that plant looks great! ready for 12/12 forsure....but if u can get a oscillating fan in there. it will help circulate freash air in there and keep the plant strong for when it gets buds. and mylar would be a nother good addition to this room aswell. if you can next time try to do atleast 2 plants if you go from unknow gender seeds. usally 50% of seeds will be male. so if this happens to be male you have no other plant to fall back on. unless you got it from a mother plant as clone. but good luck and looks good! hope i helped...Toke It EZ!
