Is it possible to grow something like K2 outside in South Africa?

Every strain of cannabis can grow outdoors in a good climate.
The main consideration is how close to the equator you are. If you're in a tropical part of Africa, where the day ios close to 12hrs long all year round, then an Indica (like K2) is not the best choice, as it will probably finish quite small. In tropical regions, it's best to grow Sativa-heavy hybrids outdoors. In the rest of the continent, anything can grow. |

No. Cutting the leaves is more likely to reduce the size of buds.
If growing outdoors in a sunny climate, plants will get all the light they need and do not need to be pruned or cut. Just let them grow. |

I took a look at the map and that shown me that nepal and afganistan is on the same opposit degree as south africa and durban - does that mean I can grow indica (e.g. white widdow) - I also would be fine if they just grow 1.5 m :) what do you mean?

Other way around, I think.
Since it's in the southern hemisphere, Durban is going to have long days in December, short days in June. Anyhow, if the difference in summer/winter day length is that significant, then both Indica and Sativa strains should have no problem growing outside. |
