A good extractor fan is the best way to maintain natural levels of CO2, which is all that plants need to photosynthesise properly.

A circulation fan (or fans) inside the growroom will also improve the health of your plants by improving their access to fresh air.

You don't need to boost CO2 above natural levels unless you are also boosting the other factors of photosynthesis (ie a few thousand watts of light, high temperature and high nutrient). If you don't boost all the factors of photosynthesis, extra CO2 won't make much difference.

or just simply talk to your plant everyday ... to give them CO2 that is coming out of your nose & mouth.

i've seen this eco technics unis co2 system that you set for the size of your room,

i'm running 600hps and 250m/h in flowering my rooms 5ftx6.5ftx2.5ft which works out tobe 2.5m3 roughly the system does rooms from1m3 -100m3

i grow in canna terra pro plus with terra nutes, i may give the canna cocco ago yet,

i have a rvk100mm extraction with carbon filter the fans 220m3/h but with a filter this is about halfed so it takes about 1m 20sec to exchange air in my room i have a large hole for intake, i am thinking about getting another fan, but should i get a bigger one for extraction and control with a fanspeedcontroller and use the 100mm for an intake if i did this i need a bigger filter too. or i could get another 100mm fan and use that for an intake on a controller,

do you just have fans running normal and set room size on co2 control

Ganga is right man

I have just gone thrue a hole lot of sh*t with solonoide co2 injection systems

There is a lot in it, its a matter of trial and error and tailoring to each room

To be honest it costs so much filling those heavy bottles of food grade air

And then setting your room for the right levels is difficult to achieve aswell and never seems to maintain a level of 1400 ppm which is optimal growing levels

I would recommend you try a growth gas generator easyer to control,Cheaper and produces better 1st time results

Would be great for europe with the cold climate a little warmth wont hert

If you were doing 4 crops per year it is safe to say you would get 1 extra crop per year using a burnner

But more importantly read as much as you can before you invest in a system like this They can be very expensive  And if not used correctly can be dangerous

The theary is there but it does take a lot of changes to master, Your better of buying another 600hps and having some more plants

Its a lot of cost to achieve minimal increase in my opinion

good luck man

thanks for the info what unit you using i've been looking at the eco technic unis it cost £160 with out the bottle you just set to room size on the controller what i want to now is do you have to have fans clear the room stop co2 released then when it's been used up fans clear room then release more co2 or do you just have fans running normally and co2 is released when levcels drop and is messured by a sensor

Hey bren

These injection systems have a cycle, The ones i have used inject air for a couple of minutes with a flow setting

Then there is a 15-30 min pause for the plants to suck it up

Then your relay cuts in and clears the room with the extraction fan

Mine extracts for about 2 min

Then the process is repeated

Use a timer you dont need to pump room when lights are of, But you do need another small fan bringing in clean air And another extracting when lights are of

Try and find some info on CGE CLOSED GROWING ENVIROMENT Rooms

That will fully explain what your trying to achieve
