Removing bud part way through flowering

   Hey guys, one of my plants took badly to a high increase in temperature in the grow room recently, leading to the bud growing up the stalk at the top of the plant to go very dry, and it does not appear to be growing well like the other plant anymore.  would it be a good idea to remove this section of the plant or just leave it to grow in the hope that it recovers?
