Rules and Guidelines for this competition
Photos for this competition can be entered until January 5, 2010. - No Photoshopping!
Only genuine, unaltered photos qualify for this competition! Anyone who wanted to show off their Photoshop skills should have entered the last two photo contests (but don’t worry, Photoshoppers, there will be another contest soon).
- Only photos of outdoor plants are eligible
No photos of plants that are illuminated with artificial light or plants that were flowered under grow-lamps.
- Higher quality photos are more likely to win
You don’t need a Hasselblad H3DII-39 or a DLSR to win this competition, but the image quality given by a 1 megapixel phone-camera is usually not good enough.
- The most appealing photo wins
This means a photo with a good, composition and lighting has a better chance of winning. We also consider a fine subject - big buds, large plants, crops of good ganja etc. - to be very appealing too.
- Include the name of the cannabis strain in the title of all uploaded photos
This is required for informational purposes. Don’t be concerned that photos of strains from other breeders might have a reduced chance of winning. This contest does not discriminate against cannabis varieties from other seed-banks!
If your plants are not fully matured just yet, don’t worry! You’ll have plenty of time to upload your photos. We plan to run this competition for a minimum of two months, so you’ll have at least until the end of November to enter your photos.
General Rules and Guidelines
- The competitions are open to all members of the Sensi Seeds forum.
- Each member is assigned a personal image gallery when they join the Sensi Forum.
- Images uploaded to a gallery may be entered in a competition simply by placing them in the appropriate image category and ticking the appropriate box beneath the Competition heading on the upload page.
- Members may enter as many images as they wish, provided each image fits the criteria of the competition.
- Existing members may enter images previously uploaded visiting their personal gallery page and clicking the ‘EDIT’ button below the photo they wish to submit.
- Images submitted for the gallery/competition must be 300KB or smaller.
- Winners will be decided by Sensi Seeds, with additional input from Sensi Forum members, through a public rating system.
- Images will be judged on their aesthetic qualities – composition, colour, sharpness, subject and general appeal.
- The decision of the Sensi Seeds judges is final.
